Brand story
Hi, I’m Sophie, the owner and maker behind Cosy Cat Candles. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a small business rooted in the simple joy of home comforts — warm lighting, calming scents, and the quiet companionship of cats.
After becoming a cat mum, I wanted to create candles that made my space feel cosy without worrying about harsh ingredients. That’s when Cosy Cat Candles was born — combining thoughtful fragrance blends with a deep love for feline company.
Why I started Cosy Cat Candles
I’ve always loved candles, but I became more conscious of what I was burning around my pets. Not all candles are made with animals in mind, so I started experimenting with gentler ingredients and cleaner blends. Once I saw how much I loved using them (and how much the cats didn’t mind!), I decided to share them with others who value both atmosphere and animal wellbeing.
Pet-friendly focus
While no home fragrance can ever be considered completely pet-safe, we’ve created candles that are a pet-friendlier alternative to traditional candles and wax melts. We use fragrance oils commonly found in pet sprays, further diluted in our blends, along with 100% soy wax and cotton wicks for a clean, even burn — no added dyes, and no black smoke.
We always recommend burning candles in well-ventilated spaces and keeping an eye on curious paws, but every product is made with pet households like ours in mind.

Zeus
Quiet, observant, and always in the coziest corner of the room. He prefers calm spaces and keeps a watchful eye on everything.
Nala
The only girl — and the one in charge. Equal parts sweet and sassy, she runs the house (and the team) with a well-timed glare and perfectly placed paw swipe.
Hades
Bossy, bold and usually found sitting in a box meant for packaging supplies.
